I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful little baby girl yesterday.  I just LOOOOVE newborn sessions and this one was so perfect!  She slept most of the time and only peed and pooped on my backdrop once – a record so far!  Thank you so much “N” and “S” for giving me the opportunity.  I’ve included one of big brother “R” as well, what a handsome little boy!

WEAR SUNBLOCK!!!!
While at the cottage we went for a nice long boat ride….sunny day, the wind in our hair- it was great!
Until we got home and realized how sunburned we were! OUCH! I now have blisters breaking out on my nose and forehead – painful enough that I’ve had to cancel a session for tomorrow because I can’t hold the camera against my face! So needless to say, I don’t think I’ll be forgetting the sunblock anytime soon!
Here is a picture of my poor sunburned face – please ignore the fact that I’m not wearing any makeup, its been a rough day!

Recent Session – July 1

While up at the cottage, I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family who has a cottage on the same lake as my family! Their twin daughters were so good that this session only took about 20 minutes! Thanks for a great (and quick!) session guys!

I’m Back!

Hi everyone!  I’m back from the cottage, what a week its been!  I promised pics, so here is a picture of my family cottage.

JUST KIDDING!!

Here is the real family cottage.  Its under construction!

So you can see above, the new house foundation is in the foreground.  In the background is the shop-where my parents are temporarily living in the front part.  Behind it is the shed, for more storage.  Here is a view from the lake.

So everything is just kinda messy with all the construction.  With all the rain we’ve had the black flies and mosquitos were still hanging around and bothersome.  My 10 month old developed a fever while we were there, cause unknown-most likely teething, but needless to say I didn’t take many pictures of my kids.   I ventured out with the bugs to get some required pictures of the construction project and thats about it.  I hope to get more when we go back for labour day!  I have lots of souvenirs from the cottage – bug bites and a very sunburned nose!

Off to the cottage!

Hi everyone..

We’re off to the cottage for the long weekend and a few extra days.  I will return all phone messages and emails when i return!

Off to sit in the sun and chat with my mom, go ATV’ing with my brothers, roast some marshmallows and sit in front of a fire and relax..and watch my girls explore the cottage and lake!  I’ll be sure to post some pictures when we get back, stay tuned!

Speaking of colours…

Maybe some of you have noticed….maybe some of you could care less. But my business colours are black and periwinkle. Just cause that is my favourite colour! This is all well and good for designing my own things – but did you ever notice how hard it is to find things in a periwinkle colour? Probably not. But I have! I have gone on a world wide internet search for periwinkle tissue paper-no luck! Ah well, most of you probably won’t even care about my pretty packaging, only your beautiful pictures inside it!

Fixed!

I’m such a perfectionist. Seriously, I can’t leave something alone until its just right!
I finally figured out all that super html code stuff, and I have my nice header back! And I even figured out how to make the other boxes have the same colour as my logo! oooooh!!! OK – I realize that most of your won’t even care about this minor detail, but it makes me just a little happy! Sooo, now that I have come to terms with the fact that I am a complete geek I can move on with my life….

This blogging thing isn’t as easy as I thought it was going to be!

I’ve having trouble getting this blog to look the way I want it to.  I used to have a really nice header with my logo and stuff and now its gone!  Something I’ve done, no doubt but I don’t know how to get it back!

Unfortunately I don’t have any more time today to spend on this, I have real work waiting for me like proofing a photoshoot!  Soo – until I have more time to fiddle with this blog, its going to have to look ugly!
